Sweetie-Pie will eat it That is saying a LOTThis is one of only a couple of dog foods that my VERY picky mini-poodle will actually eat. I got her at age 10, when her tastes were already set and she had been fed from her previous owner s plate her entire life. I originally tried to make her food, but even boiled chicken and rice turned out to be too rich for her and she broke out in boils. Her vet convinced me that a well-balanced dry dog food was MUCH preferable, actually, because this breed tends towards diabetes and that would be healthier for her. But Sweetie wanted NOTHING to do with it I easily spent a couple of hundred dollars over the next several months before I found this and one other Fromm chicken mix the one with cheese and berries in it that she will eat. I feel very comfortable that this is a high-integrity family producer who uses only quality foods in their mix. If it works for Sweetie, it works for me
