kristy: Perfect labs Thanks to a new diet

My 1 year old French bulldog had liver problems...high liver enzymes and high bile acids. We put him on meds Denamarin and lactulose. Twice a month for 3 months we took him in to the vet to test his liver and bile acids and the results were high. We also took him to a specialist for a liver ultrasound. No shunts were found but his results were still high. I took him off Royal Canin puppy and replaced it with the Royal Canin hepatic. I also fed him home cooked organic low protein high veggies and fruit diet. Needless to say, his last liver test came back perfect. Normal I am keeping him on this diet. He seems happier, healthier and the results show. He loves the food, but then again he ll eat anything.
