little puppy showing sickly signsI came home with a just beginning to wean 4 week old puppy at 2.2 lbs who was on Purina Puppy Chow. Moved to Merrick or Merritt Puppy food available at local store. Added water and waited an hour to get soft food Puppy was having very soft stools that were yellow. It got worse before I got puppy onto the starter food by Royal Canine. Within a day, puppy started showing signs of better health, in 3 days poo was normal healthy brown logs. If I had not changed the diet, puppy could have ended up with diarrhea and on IVs at 5 weeks Vet helped by recommending this dog food. Also, puppy doubled his weight by 4 weeks.
